Please note the change of support name, "Georgian Native & Outreach Ministries," and the address change to Ontario. Carol and I are missionaries seconded to Georgian and the return envelope gives the new address & name. The focus of the work remains the same.
Good Seed-"The Stranger on the Road to Emmaus" outreach program continues to grow. We visited the office in Olds, AB once again to purchase more materials before heading home. Please give us a call to order more books &/or videos, or for information.
PRAISE
*for invitations to minister this winter and spring, and present the camp work.
*for children at our skate event who expressed interest in returning to camp this summer.
*for continuing the teen canoe program in 2010 with Paul & Bob leading this outreach.
*for all three camps booked and speakers in place for this summer
*for Alice-May's good report, free of cancer, after last chemo treatment.
*for those already looking to come and serve this summer.
*for the support team that God is building and using to strengthen the work.
*for Verna (Gracie) and Andrew's (Spike) follow-up with campers in Hamilton last week.
*congratulation's Bruce (OWL) & Betty, Pastor Peter & Esther to be married in April.
PRAYER
*for all our campers especially those who were or are in C.A.S. care.
*volunteers to continue work on the chapel project at Dorothy Lake Camp this spring.
*personal support & camp sponsorships were down last year. Pray for needed increases.
*urgent need for two missionaries &/or couples to direct the Smoky Trail Camps.
*staff-counselors, cooks, program directors, & lifeguards. Forms are on line.
*needed- grandpa & grandma volunteers to come and love the children.
*literacy leaders & volunteers at all camps this summer. Come & encourage a child.
*for son Scott, & fiancé Gillian at Capernwray and for their Toronto outreach last week.
*for board member Bill McNeice as he waits for a hip replacement & for an opening soon.
*for Jim and Theresa McCoy as they plan to bring a team to Canada this summer.
*for Jim-Bubba's Missionary Boot Camp in Missouri-terrorism has reduced the attendance.
*for Rob & Sharlene Dilts praying about directing the native camp ministry in Ontario.
*for sponsors for our 10 new canoes & trailer. 3 of them are already sponsored.
*for God to open the doors wide as we continue to make progress in camp preparations.
*more opportunities to present the work. We are booking engagements. Can You Help?
Carol and I anticipate God's richest blessings in this New Year. We trust that you and your family will continue to move ahead as partners with God and with us as we share in exciting times in the year ahead. "We know nothing shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus." In the light of this wonderful promise of His unfailing love we "press on toward the mark of upward calling of God in Christ Jesus."
